Haifa Port Company operates Israel's largest maritime port, handling containers, general and bulk cargo, chemicals, fuel and RO/RO around the clock, including the Carmel container terminal. Established in 2005 when the Israel Ports Authority was split up, it was privatized in January 2023 and is now owned by Adani Ports and SEZ (70%) and Gadot Group (30%).
